Asahi/America Type-57 butterfly valves are quarter turn valves with equal percentage type flow characteristics. They provide moderate flow control and therefore can be used for both on/off and modulating service. Good tolerance to suspended solids but not recommended for use with slurries or debris. The Signet 9900 Transmitter provides a single channel interface for many different parameters including Flow, pH/ORP, Conductivity/Resistivity, Salinity, Pressure, Temperature, Level and other sensors that output a 4 to 20 mA signal. Instrument enclosures offer a simple solution for the customer who doesn’t have the time to install Signet meters into panels. Whether it’s a display transmitter or controller, these panels make installation easy. Just mount the Instrument enclosure onto the wall using the integral mounting points, and wire the sensor inputs and outputs to the optional DIN rail terminal block. With the optional DIN rail mounted power supply (equipped with an 8-foot 120 VAC power cord), the enclosure is simply plug and play. Use the easy part-number configurator to customize the instrument enclosure to fit any process measurement needs. Select the Signet 9900 SmartPro with desired options, then complete the enclosure by deciding whether to add a DIN rail, a power supply, terminal blocks, or a display pre-wired to the terminal block. Standard enclosure choices include a solid or clear hinged door. The Signet instrument is mounted through the solid door, or behind the clear door. Both enclosure styles are equipped with stainless steel hinges and pad-lockable latches. The enclosure can be configured with multiple conduit ports at the bottom for field wiring; with the prewired configuration, a simplified wiring diagram is included.
