This is the full-sized gauge guard. In most applications, this larger unit is unecessary, but the fact that it is offered in a variety of plastics -- including a plastic diaphragm -- makes it better suited for certain applications. In addition, the GGM diaphragm seal is offered with a special acrylic gauge shield, which is essential in harsh chemical environments.
