JACO Celcon® Acetal Copolymer fittings have high tensile strength and good wear resistance over a broad range of temperatures. Acetal copolymer has a glossy, slippery white appearance that may yellow over time. JACO Celcon® fittings are not affected by continuous hot water service and works smoothly with metal and hard surface tubing. Acetal copolymer should not be continuously exposed to sunlight (UV) and cannot be recommended for continuous exposure to solutions with a chlorine concentration greater than 1 ppm. Celcon® is unaffected by formaldehyde, oil, alcohols, and most inorganics but is not recommended for use with acids. JACO Celcon® acetal copolymer fittings have good resistance to methylethylketones and have a low moisture absorption rate. JACO Celcon® acetal fittings are USDA and FDA listed for use with coffee, milk, and antibiotics.
