Weld-On® 810™ Low VOC Reactive Adhesive, Two-Component, High Strength, White, 1/4 Pint

Weld-On® 711™ is an industrial grade, gray, low VOC emission, heavy-bodied, medium setting, high strength PVC solvent cement for all classes and schedules of pipe and fittings with interference fit through 12" diameter, including Schedule 80. It has good gap filling properties and its medium set allows more working time in warm weather. Weld-On® 711™ is for use on all types of PVC plastic pipe applications, Type I and Type II. It is suitable for use with potable water pressure systems, irrigation, turf, conduit, sewer, drain, waste and vent systems. Ideal for use on industrial piping systems. Weld-On® 711™ has a shelf life of three years in a tightly sealed container.

PVC is the most commonly used plastic material for manufacturingplastic pipe. It has a relatively high tensile strength and module ofelasticity. These features make it stronger and more rigid than mostother thermoplastics. It is also resistant to most acids, bases,salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants and halogens. The joiningmethods for PVC are by solvent cementing, threading (Schedule 80ONLY) or flanging. PVC has been used successfully in industries suchas chemical processing, industrial planting, chilled waterdistribution, salt water, chemical drainage, irrigation systems andother industrial applications with corrosive fluid transfer. Thepressure rating systems given are for solvent-cemented systems. Whenadding valves, flanges or other components, the system must bede-rated to the rating of the lowest component: threaded fittings arerated at 50% of solvent-cement systems; flanged fittings are rated at150 psi; union fittings are rated at 235 psi. Please seemanufacturers' recommendations for other ratings. Do not test or usePVC piping for air or compressed gasses.

CTS CPVC pipe and fittings are used for hot and cold domestic water distribution. For use where the operating temperature will not exceed 180°F at 100 psi. The fittings are copper tube sized and are ideally suited for water applications due to their corrosion resistance rating. Both pipe and fittings are manufactured to exacting standards in order to give a tight reliable fit.

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is created by subjecting PVC resin to a post chlorination reaction that results in additional chlorine atoms on the base molecule. This results in a thermoplastic material similar to PVC with added advantages: a higher heat distortion temperature and improved fire performance properties at relatively low cost compared to alternative materials. As with PVC, the physical properties of CPVC can be altered considerably to provide desirable properties by compounding techniques. CPVC provides an economic solution for piping utilized in process piping, hot water, and similar service applications where operating conditions exceed the recommended temperature limits of PVC.
