Weld-On® 845™ manual dispensing gun comes in three options. Part # 14151 is for use with 400 mL cartridges and is a plastic frame. Part # 14152 is for use with 400 mL cartridges and is a metal frame. Part # 12471 is for use with 43 mL cartridges and is a plastic frame. For use with 845™ two-component, high strength, highly viscous, low VOC reactive adhesive.

Schedule 40 PVC corrosion resistant pressure pipe, IPS sizes 1/8-24, is ideal for use in applications with temperatures up to and including 140 degrees F. Pressure rating (120 psi to 230 psi) varies with pipe size and temperature. It is generally resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants, and halogens. Chemical resistance data is available and should be referenced for proper material. Schedule 40 PVC pipe exhibits excellent physical properties and flammability characteristics. Typical applications include: chemical processing, plating, high-purity applications, potable water systems, water and wastewater treatment, irrigation and agriculture along with many other industrial applications involving corrosive fluid transfer. Schedule 40 pipe is not recommended for threading or grooving. If threading is required for the application, solvent-cemented male or female adapters should be utilized. If grooving is required, solvent-cemented grooved adapters are available in limited sizes.Do not test or use PVC piping for air or compressed gasses. Care should be taken to avoid ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbon, and aromatic solvents.

PVC is the most commonly used plastic material for manufacturing plastic pipe. It has a relatively high tensile strength and module of elasticity. These features make it stronger and more rigid than most other thermoplastics. It is also resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants and halogens. The joining methods for PVC are by solvent cementing, threading (Schedule 80 ONLY) or flanging. PVC has been used successfully in industries such as chemical processing, industrial planting, chilled water distribution, salt water, chemical drainage, irrigation systems and other industrial applications with corrosive fluid transfer. The pressure rating systems given are for solvent-cemented systems. When adding valves, flanges or other components, the system must be de-rated to the rating of the lowest component: threaded fittings are rated at 50% of solvent-cement systems; flanged fittings are rated at 150 psi; union fittings are rated at 235 psi. Please see manufacturers' recommendations for other ratings. Do not test or use PVC piping for air or compressed gasses.

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is created by subjecting PVC resin to a post chlorination reaction that results in additional chlorine atoms on the base molecule. This results in a thermoplastic material similar to PVC with added advantages: a higher heat distortion temperature and improved fire performance properties at relatively low cost compared to alternative materials. As with PVC, the physical properties of CPVC can be altered considerably to provide desirable properties by compounding techniques. CPVC provides an economic solution for piping utilized in process piping, hot water, and similar service applications where operating conditions exceed the recommended temperature limits of PVC.

CTS CPVC pipe and fittings are used for hot and cold domestic water distribution. For use where the operating temperature will not exceed 180°F at 100 psi. The fittings are copper tube sized and are ideally suited for water applications due to their corrosion resistance rating. Both pipe and fittings are manufactured to exacting standards in order to give a tight reliable fit.

Ideal for fabricating fittings and joining saddles to pipe as well as for bonding large diameter PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. 845™ has a one year self life when stored in an unopened container between 50-80° F.
