Micromold's FLUOR-O-FLO® PTFE and PVDF bulkhead fittings allow quick, easy connection of Micromold's PTFE or other piping system to any type of tank: plastic, metal, or lined. The fittings may be installed without adapters in either flat wall tanks, or most cylindrical tanks. For use with small diameter cylindrical tanks, we can supply custom adapters. To provide the best possible seal, standard fittings are supplied with special FEP encapsulated o-rings which seal to the interior tank wall. The special silicone hollow core o-ring provides sealing flexibility, and also compensates for any creep relaxation which may occur in the fitting body. The FEP encapsulation of the o-ring maintains the superior corrosion resistance of the fitting. For high temperature service, FEP or PFA encapsulated Viton or solid PTFE o-rings can be substituted. Buttress form threads are used on the lock-nut to allow the compressive forces needed to obtain a proper seal of the o-ring against many difficult to seal interior tank surfaces. Available in pipe sizes 1/8" to 4".
