IPEX 1-1/2" PVC VKD True Union Ball Valve, EPDM O-rings, Socket/FPT Ends

IPEX VKD Series Ball Valves represent an extraordinary advance in industrial plastic valve design. VKD is designed to stand up to the most severe industrial applications. The patented "Dual Block" Union Nut Locking System, only available from IPEX, ensures the valve union nuts are held in position even under severe service conditions like high vibration or thermal cycling. The patented "Seat Stop" carrier allows for inline micro-adjustment of the ball to seat pressure by adjusting the external union nut torque to make minor seat adjustments in line. VKD also features O-ring cushions behind PTFE seats to minimize wear, reduce cycling torque and prevent seizing. The VKD machined ball and ISO-stem design uses dual O-Ring seals and is designed to shear above these seals to prevent leakage to the external environment. A multi-position, spring-loaded locking handle kit is available to prevent unauthorized operation and installs in minutes. Stem extensions are easily customized in the field by cutting a piece of PVC pipe and cementing stem and handle adapters to achieve the desired length. VKD Series Ball Valves feature as an integral part of the valve body a heavyduty mounting flange for simple stationary mounting and bracketing for easy mounting of actuators and other valve accessories. Actuating a VKD valve is simple because the valve body is shaped to allow direct, safe and easy installation of the new PowerQuick actuation module. PowerQuick has been specifically developed for the easy assembling of pneumatic or electric actuators or other operational control devices on the valve body.
