Installation of Micromold's FLUOR-O-FLO® piping system can now be done quickly and easily using their handy installation kit. The kit aids in making perfect NPT threads in the field, in about the same amount of time that powered threading tools take to thread steel. These kits are available for each size of pipe Micromold sells and contain one of each of the following:
(1) Chamfering Tool
(1) NPT Threading Tool
(1) Formula 8 Paste.
Note: Standard contractors' powered threading tools are NOT recommended for use with PTFE piping. They may cause leakage at the joint by distorting and tearing the relatively soft material.

Micromold's FLUOR-O-FLO® PTFE NPT piping system is well suited for low pressure laboratory and process industry applications demanding extreme corrosion resistance, high temperature capability and high purity. All pipe and fittings are solid virgin PTFE. FNPT fittings are made from Micromold's MICROFLON, a special low-creep virgin PTFE, resulting in a system that self adjusts to prevent leaks. Available in pipe sizes ranging from 1/8" through 4".
