Cut pipe quickly and with minimal digging using Reed Low Clearance Rotary™ Cutters. The low profile design of the LCRC models needs only 5 inch (127 mm) clearance for up to 16 inch pipe diameter. Safe, clean, straight cuts are easy with these manual-operated cutters. They cold cut large diameter steel, most stainless steel, ductile, and cast iron pipe in close quarters. LCRC cutters are supplied with a slip-on handle that is used to turn and tighten the cutter. With good leverage from the tools long handle, pipe snaps off squarely before the cutter wheels penetrate halfway through the pipe. Provides a square cut and can be used in close quarters anywhere in the ditch, underwater, in noise-free zones, over head, in racks of pipes, etc. With general maintenance and cutter wheel replacement, Reeds Low Clearance Rotary™ Cutters last for decades.
For use in extremely tight places, mini tubing cutters require minimal swing around the tubing. Mini tubing cutters can be used on copper, steel, stainless steel and aluminum tubing. MC2GRIP has rounded corners and edges of the body for a more comfortable grip when rotating the cutter around tubing. After tightening the feed screw, mini tubing cutters work faster by providing a more consistent cutting force on the wheel.

All Reed cutter wheels are made from high shock-resistant tool steel, while competitive wheels are made from carbon steel or still lower quality tool steel. By using this higher quality raw material, Reed cutter wheels can be made thinner and can therefore cut pipe more easily and leave less burr. Also, because of their higher quality, certified material, only Reed wheels can be heat-treated for the perfect balance between hardness and toughness to make the wheels resist breakage and last longer.

Reed's PLAS Hand-over-Hand Rotary™ Cutters excel at cutting 4" to 12" (106 - 335 mm) diameter PVC or PE pipe in-trench or above ground. They feature attached handles which permit fast hand-turning. With the cutter around the pipe, the operator turns it for one revolution, feeds the cut-off blade closer to the pipe, and continues turning/feeding as needed. These OH models require 11" (280 mm) clearance. Attached handles mean there is no need to reposition a handle after each turn, compared to a regular PLAS model. Plus, the built-in handle convenience equals no loose parts.
Outboard rollers keep the cutter aligned on pipe, ensuring a square cut every time. Each PLAS cutter also can produce, in-line with the cut, a 15° bevel on both sides of the cut. For PVC pipe, the long-lasting carbide-tipped blades penetrate up to a 2" wall thickness. For PE pipe, Reed developed a hardened, tool steel blade. The engineered blade tip drives chips out of the way, making PE cuts easy to accomplish. PLAS in-line rotary cutters can retrofit from PVC to PE or vice versa with alternative cutter blades. ** PLAS cutters will cut PVC and PE pipe. Specific limitations for PE are as follows: 2" (38.1mm) wall thickness PE - up to 12" pipe.

PLAS In-Line Rotary™ Cutters are excellent for cutting PVC or PE pipe in trench or above ground. Each PLAS rotary cutter needs just 6" to 8" (153 - 203 mm) clearance around the pipe, making them easy to operate in trench and with lower prep costs. Outboard rollers keep the cutter aligned on pipe, ensuring a square cut every time. Carbide-tipped blades for PVC are long-lasting and penetrate up to a 2 wall thickness. Each PVC cutter also can produce, in-line with the cut, a 15° bevel on both sides of the cut. In addition, Reed has developed a hardened, tool steel blade to cut PE pipe. The curved blade drives chips out of the way, making PE cuts much easier. PLAS In-Line Rotary Cutters can retrofit for PE by purchasing PLASPEB blade #94485 separately.

Tubing cutters are a simple, durable design. Each tubing cutter has a screw feed with a large grip knob to make it easier to tighten the cutter. T10 and T15 cutters are zinc alloy construction with a built-in reamer for convenient cutting and deburring. T20 cutter is larger but light due to its aluminum construction. T20 cutter features a fold-out reamer. Wide rollers on all three cutter models yield a square cut while thin cutter wheel profile ensures a quick, clean cut.
Reed tubing cutters are equipped with special wheels for stainless steel. Reed wheels for stainless tubing use specialized steel for toughness and heat dissipation, resulting in long wheel life. T10SS, T15SS and T20SS tubing cutters offer a large knob for firm grip and easy turning, along with an internal reamer in the knob. TC11SS telescoping tubing cutter includes a fold-out reamer and spare wheel for stainless tubing.

Telescoping Tubing Cutters are a good choice for tight spaces as their feed screw keeps them a consistent size throughout the cut. TC11 telescoping tubing cutter with strong, aluminum alloy body and nickel-chrome finish, makes a clean, square cut. Cutters have easy action, enclosed feed screw, fold-out reamer, grooved rollers and spare cutting wheel. TC14 and TC166 telescoping tubing cutters move smoothly and offer a pencil reamer. TC14 features a spare cutter wheel.
Quick Release™ tubing cutters for plastic are the most practical cutters for small, medium, and large diameter work and feature sliding bars now with magnesium for added strength. They cut clean with very little burr. Field tests show that Quick Release™ tubing cutters with Reed OP2 or 30-40P cutter wheels are excellent for use on ABS pipe.
