Air x air models require a 4-way air solenoid valve; fail-safe air x spring models require a 3-way air solenoid valve. Filtered and lubricated air is recommended to operate the actuators. Beneath the mounting lugs on the valve body are two hex nuts which are tapped to facilitate support of the piping assembly.
