The Truflo® TIW Series Insertion Style Paddle Wheel Flow Meter Sensor is ideal for tough industrial applications where accuracy and reliability is needed. The TIW Series sensor has been engineered to provide long-term accurate flow measurement for both corrosive and non-corrosive liquids. The plastic insertion flow meter sensor is a blind unit that provides a frequency pulse output and is internally equipped with a Hirschmann DIN quick disconnect or a flying lead. The re-engineered low-drag, fluid-dynamic design of the paddle wheel has 78% less drag than the old flat paddle design. The paddle wheel assembly consists of a Tefzel® paddle coupled with zirconium ceramic rotor pin and bushings. The flow meter sensors are highly repeatable, exceptionally accurate, extremely rugged, and require absolutely no maintenance. The TIW Series flow meter sensors will also retrofit into any Signet® style fitting. Some general applications include liquid chemical flow measurement, filtration systems, water and wastewater monitoring, industrial chemical distribution, process chemical skids, liquid consumption, and discharge verification.
