The AquaMetrix P60R-8 pH and R60R-8 ORP probes are dependable industrial grade sensors designed to provide accurate measurement and longer service life under the most demanding conditions. The P/R60R-8 incorporates all the benefits of differential measurement found in other models of the 60 series, field proven in thousands of installations. This technique uses two glass electrodes to make the measurement differentially with respect to a third metal electrode. The domed glass process electrode is specially designed for tough applications. The second electrode is immersed in a pH 7 buffer encapsulated in the probe.
This second electrode is protected from the process by a double junction replaceable salt bridge. The resulting true differential measurement has several advantages over conventional probes: ground loop problems are virtually eliminated, and the salt bridge is easily replaced. If the internal solution becomes contaminated, the probe can be rejuvenated at modest cost by replacing the salt bridge and reference solution. Automatic temperature compensation is accomplished through the use of a thermistor at the tip of the probe. This thermistor placement provides rapid response for process temperature variations. The encapsulated preamplifier provides an output signal which can be transmitted 3000 feet over inexpensive cable.
Series P/R60R-8 is ideal for use in the following applications:

The AquaMetrix series P/R65C pH and ORP differential probe stays in service and provides accurate measurements under conditions that often render conventional pH probes inoperable. For added versatility, these probes are available with an integral encapsulated 4-20mA two-wire transmitter to fee directly to a PLC or a DCS. The P65 pH and R65 ORP probes employ a differential measurement technique. Unlike conventional combination probes, the differential probe has two high impedance measurement circuits containing a common metallic return electrode. The 65 series has a semi-flush face which facilitates the avoidance of solution materials and makes it easy to clean.

AquaMetrix Series 500 Model P575 Combination pH / ORP sensor uses the conventional measurement technique employing a process pH glass electrode (platinum for ORP) which is compared to a reference electrode in KCI solution. This economical alternative offers wetted materials that provide excellent chemical resistance. The convertible design of this probe allows it to be used in flow-thru and submersion applications and is offered with or without temperature compensation.
CPVC mounting hardware is available for submersion and flow-through. These industrial combination probes are available with an optional screw-on protector for submersion mount use. It is easily removed for flow-through installations when the probe is mounted to a tee. Model P575 can be directly connected to the Shark, SharkTX/P and 2200P/R analyzers, provided the instrument is within reach of the 3 meter sensor cable. For longer transmission distances, a preamplifier with automatic or fixed temperature compensation is available.

AquaMetrix Series 500 Model P585 Combination pH / ORP sensor uses the conventional measurement technique employing a process pH glass electrode (platinum for ORP) which is compared to a reference electrode in KCI solution. This economical alternative offers wetted materials that provide excellent chemical resistance. The convertible design of this probe allows it to be used in flow-thru and submersion applications and is offered with or without temperature compensation.
Model P585 is installed with a 3/4" MNPT compression fitting. With this design the probe does not screw into the process line but is simply inserted through the compression fitting. This allows for a variable insertion depth from 3/4" to 4-1/4". Probe cleaning and system calibration is greatly facilitated. The P585 probes can be directly connected to the Shark, Shark TX/P and 2200P/R analyzers, provided the instrument is within the reach of the sensor cable. For longer transmission distance, preamplifiers suitable for automatic and fixed temperature compensation are available.

The Shark is designed to be the most flexible, easy to use and easy to see multi-parameter controller on the market. Select the parameter you wish to measure from the easy-to-use LCD menu on the inside front cover. Choose pH, ORP, conductivity or flow. The Shark features a flip out hidden display for setting the parameter. A universal mounting kit is included for surface, panel and pipe-mount applications.
The Shark is an AC powered analyzer that provides two isolated, independent and scalable 4-20mA outputs and two control relays. A third relay is preset to act as an alarm relay, but can be used as a process control relay. It has both high and low adjustable off and on set-points. Both control relays can be set for either a rising or falling process, with easily programmed on/off set-points. Each control relay has a built-in independent cycle timer, with field-set on and off time to reduce chemical overshoot. The Shark is housed in a rugged NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure, making it ideally suited for heavy-duty applications.
Shark is ideal for use in the following applications: Process control, industrial and municipal water treatment, industrial and municipal waste treatment and neutralization, fume scrubbers, plating, circuit board manufacturing, food and beverage, chemical processing, pulp & paper, mining, nuclear energy and pharmaceutical industries.
