Stenner's durable SVP series variable speed peristaltic metering pump is designed for water and wastewater applications. The pump can respond to a non-scalable 4-20mA input signal or be set for manual operation. Some key features include: large 4-button keypad with LED display, 20:1 turndown ratio and Stenner's QuickPro® pump head. The QuickPro® pump head makes tube replacement easy and convenient without the use of tools and the pump itself is simple to service or convert to another model.
The SVP is categorized into two sub-series. The SPV1 and the SVP4. The SVP1 is manually adjusted using the keypad. The SVP4 is designed to respond directly to a 4-20mA input signal from water treatment controls including pH and ORP monitors to maintain proper water chemistry and treatment of effluent discharge water. The SVP4 is equipped with an external port to accept the signal or it can override the 4-20 mode to be manually adjusted with the arrows on the keypad. Series SVP is UL, CSA approved and has been tested by WQA to conform to ANSI/NSF Standards 61 & 372.
Ideal applications for the SVP1 and SVP4 are as follows:
- Treatment of return wastewater before it can be processed for further usage
- Injection of liquid biocides in cooling towers for prevention of Legionnaires disease
- Corrosion, scale and algae control on plumbing fixtures and water supply equipment
- Metering additives specific to a manufacturing process
- pH control for process water or metal plating discharge water
